These are methods that have been tested, again and again, against un-corporative partners and opponents. Learn the 5 Pillars of Deployment

This course introduces 5 principles that are powerful in isolation, but unstoppable in combination. We will look at the theory, mechanics and outcomes of these '5 Pillars of Deployment' and how they fit into the larger MartialBody approach.

ANGULATION

Learn how angulation creates an advantageous, new alignment & leverage at the point of contact. This alignment and leverage will allow the application of our body method to affect the partner more dramatically, utilizing positive or negative zones of power to produce differing effects.

UNOPPOSED

Confuse the partners directions with the unopposed pillar of deployment. Here we utilize SpiralBody to change the resistance profile at the point of contact, which will confuse the opponent or partners effort and direction. Learn to sap the opponents power with the Unopposed Concept.

DEPENDANCE

Take advantage of your partners tension with the Dependance Principle. When you carry a weight, your body will naturally find a new equilibrium. In dependance we take advantage of this idea to develop tension and then take advantage of that tension to unbalance.

RETURNING & REFLECTION

Send back what you are given, with Returning. Using our Heavy, Stable & Connected attributes, we are able to reflect our opponents strength and using the SpiralBody, we are able to return it. These two sides to the Returning concept combine to mean that partners and opponents are easily manipulated.

ADDING

Use your body method to power up all of the other principles. Here we add power into the other pillars by expressing our MartialBody. Far from blunt force, the action of our own MartialBody method will fill the other principles and make them unstoppable.
