Develop a connection to the front and back halves of your body.

Across the Martial Arts there is a requirement for us to use the front and back of the body. From throwing techniques to striking methods we can find that using the body, bending or stretching it is used to increase power. In this brand new Toolkit Course, we will teach you methods to supercharge and harmonise the front and back of the body.

Rocking with a connected body

Rocking is the practice of turning our attention inside as we rock on the feet. This practice, with the right details, connects you directly to the tissues, lines and structures that we use in the harmonious balance between front and back. You will feel directly and clearly the front and back tissues, and also the true centre point of equllibrium between them.

Rowing - connecting to SpiralBody movements

Many martial arts use a rowing type of movement, either as solo training or as a martial practice, but in this section we do so with a twist. Here we examine how to link front and back halves to the extremities, using spiralBody concepts to fuel complex opening and closing movements.
